Fun With Stencils...
I had my first go with a stencil today and I must say it turned out quite nicely:
I painted the base of the dresser with Annie Sloan's Provence. Then dry brushed over with Old White. Added some vintage pulls, coated with Old White, and voila... a whimsical dresser. It reminds me of the sky on a beautiful spring day.

The Ugly Ducklling...
This dresser was in need of some love to realize it's full potential. I mixed my own chalk paint (this was before I found Annie's so don't get angry with me :) and viola, she's beautiful. I have named her Christine and she is now residing in her new home with very happy owners.
